My wanderings and ramblings have taken me to a lot of fun places in years past... but since I last wrote, I've traveled less and settled more... and I'm still loving life!
My next adventure I take with my husband... we are moving to Madison and he'll spend the next three years working hard to support me while I work hard to earn my doctorate. I'm going to be a physical therapist and I couldn't be more excited! I have become passionate about this and I've become so nerdy that I have been playing games on my phone that help you learn and memorize the muscles, their origins and attachments as well as their functions. I am rereading old human anatomy text books; I just ordered my three new text books for this summer today and I can't wait to start studying... it's official- I'm back in school.
But while I'm facing my newest adventure, my brother- and sister-in-law are tackling the travel bug head on! They are leaving Wednesday for a cruise start from Puerto Rico south through some of the islands and then across the ocean; they'll stop in the Azores and then continue on to South Hampton. From there, they'll spend a few days in London, a week or so in Dublin and some trime traveling around Ireland... and from there, who knows! They want to hit up some of the major tourist cities, Paris, Rome, Venice, but they also want to do a little of the "off the beaten track" thing as well. They don't know how long the money will last or when they'll be back... their guess is three months... could be two, could be four. But they will have the time of their lives and I'm excited to live vicariously through them for a while.
So if you're looking for someone's travel adventure to follow (much more exciting than my human anatomy labs and lectures), check out www.discoverwithandy.com - it promises to be an amazing journey!
